FOCUS ON YOUR SENSES
Just moving your hands and making things is a common "experience". "TAKIGAHARA CRAFT TOURISM" is not only that, but it also starts by getting to know the unique culture of lacquerware, Japanese paper, and porcelain, and touching materials and techniques that are now precious.
For the actual experience, we invite craftsmen and designers who are involved in crafts as instructors, and not only focus on making, but also place importance on creating and imagining original colors and shapes. The source of inspiration is the nature and space of TAKIGAHARA. Let your intuition guide you and allow your thoughts to flow freely.
After the experience, dinner using TAKIGAHARA ingredients. The chef is TOMOHIRO, who works at TAKIGAHARA's hostel "CRAFT&STAY". The dinner menu is a course meal of local production for local consumption paired with Hokuriku sake and natural wine.
Sight, touch, smell, taste, hearing, all five senses will be pleasantly stimulated, that is "TAKIGAHARA CRAFT TORISM".
